Stolen dog, Southport

Police are seeking public assistance after a blind dog was stolen from a Southport home this afternoon, July 5.

Initial investigations indicate between 10am and 1.15pm, a group broke in to a Regatta Parade property stealing several items including a grey 2022 Hyundai Tucson station wagon.

It is understood they left the scene in the stolen vehicle, bearing Queensland registration 021FO8, taking the dog with them.

Bowie (pictured) is tri-coloured Australian Shepard with distinctive black, white and gold fur, and blue eyes.

Anyone who has seen him or the stolen vehicle is urged to immediately contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
