Police are investigating the theft of six firearms from a property in Armidale on the weekend, NSW Police say.
Sometime between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday 24 December 2016, entry was forced to a building at Niagara Street, Armidale.
Six firearms, including one shotgun and five rifles, were taken as well ammunition.
The matter was reported to officers from New England Local Area Command who are now investigating the matter
Anyone with information about the theft should contact police.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
