Stolen Holden GTS sedan located at Kilkenny, SA

A Holden GTS sedan, stolen from Hindmarsh at 6am this morning, has been located at Kilkenny. One man has been arrested, according to SA Police.

Alarms activated at the Orsmond Street business premises at 6am on Saturday 4 June and alerted neighbours, who rang police.

The stolen black 2010 Holden GTS sedan was spotted at Rosewater just before 8am and briefly pursued, but the pursuit was terminated for safety reasons.

Patrols continued to search the area and located a suspect nearby. The stolen vehicle was soon found parked at an underground car park on Regency Road at Kilkenny about 9.15am.

Fortunately, the Holden GTS sustained only minor damage to the rear spoiler during the theft. Crime scene investigators will examine the vehicle for evidence this morning.

A 30-year-old Prospect man, who was the alleged driver of the stolen car, was arrested and charged with illegal use, engage in a police pursuit and drive disqualified. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
