Stolen ID used in Richmond

Yarra Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify three men who used stolen identification in the Richmond area in November last year.

Police have been told the stolen ID was used to fraudulently hire an apartment on Swan Street between 16 November and 23 November.

While staying at the apartment, it is believed the offenders used the stolen ID again to purchase a car advertised online in Pakenham on 19 November, no payment was received.

The stolen car, worth $39,0000 is described as a green 2010 Ford Focus sedan, registration AED 573.

Police have released images of three men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

An image of the stolen car has been released in the hope someone may know of its whereabouts.
