Stolen snakes, Southport

Police are appealing for public assistance after five pythons were stolen during a burglary at Southport on the weekend.

Sometime between 6:00am on September 9 and 5.45pm on September 10, a Cotlew Street property was broken into after a rear sliding door was forced open, and five python snakes were stolen.

Two are described as dark olive green and around 3 metres long.

Three are described as brown 'Bredli' pythons, ranging from approximately 1.8 to 2 metres long.

A UHF radio was also stolen during the burglary.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding this offence – or the location of the snakes – to come forward.
