Stolen Vehicle Charges, Kallangur

Police have charged seven people after an alleged stolen vehicle was involved in a traffic crash in Kallangur yesterday afternoon, April 18.

Police will allege a stolen white Nissan X-Trail was travelling on the incorrect side of the road when it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Anzac Avenue and Anzac Avenue Service Road at approximately 10.50am.

The occupants of the Nissan X-Trail, one adult and five children, left the scene but were taken into custody a short time later at Kallangur Railway Station.

The occupants of the other vehicle were not physically injured.

Police will further allege the Nissan X-Trail was stolen from a Wondai property between the hours of 3-11pm on Thursday night, April 17.

A 14-year-old Murgon boy was charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, possessing dangerous drugs, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, enter dwelling with intent by break, and attempted enter dwelling with intent.

A 15-year-old Cherbourg boy was charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, enter dwelling with intent by break, and attempted enter dwelling with intent.

A 14-year-old Cherbourg girl was charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, receiving tainted property, and unlawful use of motor vehicle in company.

A 16-year-old Cherbourg boy was charged with one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence, receiving tainted property, and unlawful use of motor vehicle in company.

All five teenagers are due to face Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on April 28.

A 16-year-old Cherbourg boy has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent by break, attempted enter dwelling with intent, enter premises and commit indictable offence, receiving tainted property, and unauthorised use of a motor vehicle in company.

He is due to face Brisbane Childrens Court today, April 19.

A 19-year-old Cherbourg man was charged with two counts of attempted enter dwelling and commit, and one count each of receiving tainted property, enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, and attempted enter premises with intent to commit indicatable offence.

He is due to face Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 16.
