Stolen Vehicle Charges, New Farm

Police have charged three teenagers after an alleged stolen vehicle was involved in a traffic crash in New Farm yesterday, June 14.

Police will allege a stolen silver Ford Fairlane struck several vehicles parked in the vicinity of Bowen Terrace and Moray Street around 11.40am.

The three occupants of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.

An off-duty police officer took two of the offenders, both teenage girls, into custody on Barker Street.

A short time later, police located the third offender, a teenage boy, and took him into custody on Bowman Lane.

Police will further allege the Ford Fairlane was stolen from a Nudgee property around 2.40am yesterday morning.

A 17-year-old boy was charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, dangerous operation of motor vehicle, receiving tainted property, and breach of bail.

A 14-year-old girl was charged with two counts of stealing, unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, and breach of bail.

They will both appear in Brisbane Childrens Court on Monday, June 16.

A 16-year-old girl was issued a notice to appear in Brisbane Childrens Court on June 27.
