Strike Force Hardey arrest fourth person over murder of Jamie Phillips

Police investigating the homicide of Jamie Phillips in Sydney's south-west last year have arrested a fourth person.

About 1pm on Thursday 25 October 2018, officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command were called to Englorie Park Drive, Rosemeadow, after the body of a man was found in a vacant lot.

The man was formally identified as 46-year-old Jamie Phillips of Campbelltown.

A post mortem was conducted, and it was determined he had died as a result of multiple injuries.

Local detectives established Strike Force Hardey to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

Following extensive inquiries, strike force investigators today (Thursday 11 April 2019), arrested a 36-year-old man.

He was charged with murder and was refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow (Friday 12 April 2019).
