Detectives attached to Murray River Police District have formed a Strike Force as inquiries continue into an incident last month in which a vehicle was allegedly deliberately driven at police.
Police are calling for public assistance, seeking dashcam or CCTV of the incident, which occurred about 10.20pm on Friday 18 August 2023, at the intersection of Dallinger and Vickers roads, Lavington.
Police will allege a silver Holden Commodore sedan was allegedly deliberately driven at two officers before leaving the scene.
The senior constable and constable were not injured, a crime scene was established and has since been forensically examined.
Detectives are now seeking assistance from the public as inquiries continue under Strike Force Tarlton.
They are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information relevant to the investigation, or dashcam or CCTV they believe can assist, to contact detectives at Albury Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
