Crews received the report of a residential structure, bus and semi-detached garage on fire on Arunga Street at approximately 2.23pm.
Firefighters immediately attended the scene and swiftly worked to bring the fire under control and protect surrounding properties.
NT Police Force and St John NT also attended the scene however no injuries were reported.
Acting District Officer, Jo-Anna Kenney urged members of the public to avoid the area.
"Emergency services are still on the scene and smoke is still impacting the area, so we're urging the public to find alternative routes home."

NTFRS are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire and anyone with information is urged to contact NT Police Force on 131 444.
