Police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to a vacant house in Fourth Avenue, West Moonah that was destroyed by fire. At 9.20pm on the 21st June 2017 Police and Fire crews attended the property that was well alight, Tasmania Police say.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time but police are treating this matter as suspicious. Investigations have commenced and police are seeking witnesses that may have seen any persons or vehicles acting suspicious in the area of Fourth Avenue around the time of the fire. The damage is estimated at $300,000.00.
