Stud Poll Dorset Ewes Stolen - Cootamundra - Armdale Park Stud, NSW

The Rural Crime Prevention Team investigators are appealing for information from the public following the theft of Poll Dorset stud ewes from a property near Cootamundra, NSW Police say.

On Wednesday 7 March 2018, investigators attended the well-known ‘Armdale Park’ Dorset Stud in Berry Jerry Lane, Murrulebale, regarding the theft of 85 Poll Dorset ewes of mixed age (2 – 5 years)

The stolen sheep are valued to be in excess of $100,000 and are believed to have been stolen between the 22 and 25 February this year.

The ‘Armdale Park’ Dorset Stud has a long history and foundation. Their breeding practices and product are award-winning and highly regarded within the industry.

The Rural Crime Prevention Team are coordinating resources to investigate this theft and believe it was targeted due to the timing and high quality of the stock.
