Sudden Death Appeal At Rockhampton

Detectives from Rockhampton's Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for information following the sudden death of a man in Rockhampton on the weekend.

At approximately 12pm on Saturday 16 August, a 41-year-old man was located deceased on the edge of the Fitzroy River, near to Wharf Street at Depot Hill in Rockhampton and a crime scene was declared.

Detectives have released vision of the man located deceased seen wearing the same clothes several days earlier on Wednesday 13 August at approximately 3am and are appealing to anyone with information or who may have seen the man between 3am on Wednesday morning and 12pm on Saturday 16 August to come forward.

Investigations into the circumstances of the man's death are ongoing.
