Kiama Municipal Council formally advises residents that a supplementary report for next Tuesday's Ordinary Meeting on two key documents is being prepared:
1. Council's Draft Revenue Improvement Strategy, and
2. Draft Strategic Asset Review.
They are open for public exhibition and submissions close at 9am on Friday (16 October).
Under the requirements of the Varied Performance Improvement Order issued by NSW Minister for Local Government Ron Hoenig on 30 June, Council needed to develop and publicly display these two draft strategies within 90 days.
This task has been done but once the consultation period closes, Council staff will immediately review the feedback and prepare reports for Council's consideration.
The supplementary report will be published on Council's website by close of business on Friday. Council apologises for the delay but due to the PIO timeframes, it was unavoidable.
Councillors will then consider the Draft Revenue Improvement Strategy and Draft Strategic Asset Review at Tuesday's Ordinary Meeting.
