Supporting our local arts scene

A new website to support artists living and working in the City of Whittlesea has put a spotlight on unique art, music, dance and other creative forms created locally.

The Whittlesea Arts website is also a place for residents to participate in creative online programs to stay connected during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Administrator Ms Peita Duncan said Whittlesea Arts was an exciting new platform that celebrates unity and diversity.

"The arts have a unique way of bringing people together," Ms Duncan said.

"Although we may be physically apart, this new online platform encourages engagement with people in our community by creating opportunities for cultural expression.
