In the first half of 2021, we spent more than $37 million with over 470 Australian small businesses*, who supplied us with a broad range of goods and services - from PPE to office supplies and everything in between.
We know that reliable and timely cashflows play an important role in helping small businesses to grow and support their people. That's why Transurban is a signatory to the Business Council of Australia's (BCA) Supplier Payment Code, and is committed to paying eligible Australian small business suppliers on-time and within 30 days.
In the first half of 2021, we paid 98% of small businesses within 30 days of invoicing.
