Supporting venues for return of Australian live music

Applications are now open for the fourth round of the Australian Government’s $20 million Live Music Australia program, designed to bring more home-grown music to Australians stages.

$2.5 million of funding will be available under this round for venues across the country.

Grants range in value from $5,000 to $100,000, and can support a variety of activities including the delivery of original live music programs, upgrades to venues and equipment, and support for restarting performances as COVID-19 restrictions ease.

The program is focused on supporting small to medium-sized live music venues who host, or want to host, the performance of original Australian live music – from pubs in the remote outback, to clubs and theatres in major capital cities.
