Suspect sought after Sefton Park break-in, SA

Western District police are investigating an aggravated serious criminal trespass at Sefton Park this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 7am on Sunday 14 October police were called to Regency Road after a 79–year-old victim located an unknown woman inside her unit.

The elderly woman was punched several times as she attempted to stop the offender leaving the unit with her handbag. The suspect was last seen running west on Regency Road towards Main North Road.

The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.

The suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged in her 20s, approximately 168cm tall, medium build, with long curly black hair and a thin face. She was wearing a red coloured jacket, dark coloured jeans and carrying a long handled bag.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
