Police are investigating after a girl was assaulted in parkland at Glasshouse Mountains this morning, Queensland Police say.
Initial information suggests around 11.40am the teenage girl was walking through a park off Allan Avenue when she was approached by a man.
The man then grabbed the girl before she managed to break free and flee the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the man in the vicinity around the time of the incident.
He is described as about 17 years of age, 185cm tall with short spiky blonde/brown hair.
He was wearing a white shirt with long black pants and black leather shoes.
