Police and emergency services are currently on scene at a building fire in Adelaide CBD, according to SA Police.
Just before 5am, Friday 29 December, police and fire crews were called to Little Sturt Street after reports of a fire in a café.
MFS were able to contain the blaze but had suspicion that the fire may have been deliberately lit after finding damage to a gas pipe at the rear of the premises.
Police have closed Little Sturt Street and Sturt Street between West Terrace and Whitmore Square and are asking motorists to avoid the area.
Police Crime Scene Investigators will be attending the scene this morning to assist with the investigation.
