Major Crime Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 68-year-old man overnight.
Police and St John Ambulance attended the Humpty Doo residence around 9:00pm following a report of an assault.
Unfortunately the man was declared deceased on arrival.
A crime scene was established and held overnight.
Detective Senior Sergeant Matt Allen said a 48-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with manslaughter.
He has been remanded in custody until 27 December.
