The death of a man in the state's central west is being treated as suspicious.
About 10.15pm yesterday (Friday 25 July 2025), officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District attended a home on Walker Crescent, Wellington, following a concern for welfare call.
Officers entered the home where the body of a man was located.
A crime scene was established, and an investigation commenced.
Whilst the body of the man is yet to be formally identified he is believed to be aged in his 60's and is a resident of the premises.
