Suspicious Disappearance, Kelvin Grove

Detectives have declared a crime scene at a Bli Bli property in relation to the suspicious disappearance of a 56-year-old man from Kelvin Grove on 20 August.

Andrew Burow's out of character disappearance was reported first to police on 24 August.

Late last night, 26 August, investigations led detectives to believe the disappearance to be suspicious.

Early this morning, 27 August, an Incident Centre was established by Brisbane City Criminal Investigation Branch under Operation Veer.

Today, investigations continued with a crime scene being declared a Kokoda Avenue address in Bli Bli.

Officers remain at the property as investigations continue.

Police and family hold significant concerns for his welfare as he has not contacted anyone since his disappearance.

Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts or information about the missing person is urged to contact police immediately.

Andrew is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, reddish /sandy hair and bluish-green eyes.
