Police are investigating after fire tore through a unit in Maidstone last night, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the Montgomery Street premises about 10.15pm, locating the unoccupied unit alight.
No injuries were reported.
The exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined and police are treating it as suspicious at this stage.
An arson chemist is also expected to attend the scene later in the morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
