Police are investigating a suspicious house fire at Molendinar this afternoon., Queensland Police say
Around 5.30pm, police were called to a house on Lillywood Circuit, after neighbours reported hearing an explosion.
Emergency services attended and extinguished the fire.
There were no occupants inside the building at the time.
The building has sustained significant fire and smoke damage.
A crime scene has been declared while investigators work to determine the cause of the blaze.
Investigations are continuing.
