Suspicious house fire – Bradman St, Clarendon Vale, TAS

Bellerive CIB is investigating a suspicious house fire in Clarendon Vale, which occurred early this morning, Tasmania Police say,

About 4.30am on Friday, 14 October 2016, Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police attended a report of a house fire in Bradman St, Clarendon Vale.

Upon arrival, the residence was engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished by fire crews a short time later.

The occupants of the residence were not home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.

The value of the damage is approximately $150,000.

Forensic Services and CIB officers also attended the scene.

At this stage, police are treating the fire as suspicious and investigations are continuing as to the cause of the fire.
