Northern Territory Police are searching for a male after he approached a child on Belyuen Road early this morning.
The child was walking to school around 7:30am when he was approached by an unknown male who took hold of his wrist, Northern Territory Police say.
The child freed himself and ran to his school where he reported the incident to his teacher.
The male is described as Caucasian, between 175-180cm tall, and of skinny build. He was last seen wearing a grey beanie, dark coloured sunglasses, a plain grey t-shirt, black shorts with side pockets, and black and white runners.
Police are investigating the incident.
