Swan Hill Rural City Council is bursting with pride as Swan Hill is named a Victorian Top Tourism Town Finalist for 2025.
Council's Mayor, Cr Stuart King said the recognition highlights the collective commitment of our community to providing welcoming and memorable experiences for visitors, showcasing pride and dedication to our town.
"Every interaction – big or small – contributes to our visitors' experience, and it's our entire community that makes Swan Hill such a special place. I couldn't be prouder." Cr King said.
The Top Tourism Town Awards aim to recognise and reward towns that demonstrate a strong commitment to tourism and to increasing visitation to the destination, that offer an excellent visitor experience, and exhibit collaboration with tourism operators, local businesses and the community to make their town the best destination it can be. The nomination was proudly submitted by Swan Hill Rural City Council in collaboration with Swan Hill Incorporated.
"Awards are presented in three categories, and Swan Hill has been named a finalist in the Top Tourism Town category for populations over 5000 – a significant and well-deserved achievement.
"The next step is up to you – we need your support! The winner is decided by the people's vote, so let's get behind our community and vote for Swan Hill." he said.
The public voting opens at 9am Friday, 6th June, and closes at 5pm on Friday, 27th June.
