Swimming pool shell theft in Thomastown

Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information after two swimming pool shells were stolen in Thomastown last week (9 April), Victoria Police say.

Two styles of flat-bottom fibreglass pool shells were stolen from the Northgate Drive address about 4.15am.

Both pools were crystal blue shimmer-finish interior and brown/black exterior in colour.

Detectives believe a crane was used to lift the pool shells onto the back of a truck before they were stolen from the premises.

The victim is the sole distributor of these pools in Victoria and it would highly unusual for anyone else to be in possession of them.

Investigators have released images of the pool shells together with their dimensions, in the hope someone recognises them or become aware of their whereabouts.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage in the area is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
