Sydney Ferries Stop Work Postponed - Normal Services Tomorrow

Harbour City Ferries (HCF) will operate on a normal timetable tomorrow (Wednesday, 31 October) after a decision was taken to postpone a staff vote on a new Enterprise Agreement (EA) which would have resulted in a four hour shut down of ferry services.

"A decision was made to postpone the vote due to students needing to travel for their HSC exams and other considerations," said Fiona Dempster, General Manager Operations at HCF.

"All ferry services will operate to the normal timetable tomorrow," Ms Dempster said.

"The staff vote will be held on a future date to be determined.

"HCF apologises for any inconvenience to the public."
