Sydney Single Mum Celebrates $1.3M Lotto Win

In the sweeping white-sand crescent of Bondi, a single mother's life has been transformed by an extraordinary lottery win after she secured one of the four division one prizes, earning a remarkable $1,311,960.34 in the Saturday Lotto draw 4411, held on 28 October 2023.

The New South Wales woman recounted the moment of discovery, expressing her disbelief and joy.

"Wow! That’s so amazing... I’m so excited. I can’t believe this has happened."

It was a late Saturday night when the realization hit her.

"It was quarter to ten on Saturday night and I decided to check my ticket. My daughter was sitting next to me, and my face immediately changed," she described.

"I couldn’t get to sleep, and I went to work the next day like nothing happened".

The win came at a perfect time for the single mum, who now sees a brighter future for her and her daughter.

"This will really help me as a single mum – it’s so amazing," she shared.

She has grand plans to take her daughter on an overseas holiday for Christmas and to purchase a family home. A portion of the winnings will be saved for her daughter's education, ensuring long-term security and opportunities.

The winning 24-game QuickPick ticket was bought at Bondi Junction Newsagency & Internet Café.

The store owner, Manish Sharma, was overjoyed upon learning that his outlet had sold the life-changing ticket. He looks forward to sharing the good news with customers and the local community, highlighting the store's history of notable wins.

The winning numbers for the draw were 30, 13, 12, 14, 18, and 35, with supplementary numbers 43 and 2. The breakdown of division winnings is available here: Saturday Lotto Draw 4411 Mints 4 New Millionaires
