Sydney Train Stalking: Police Seek Leads

Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an investigation into an incident on Sydney's rail network.

About 9pm on Thursday 18 December 2025, emergency services received a report of an alleged stalking incident, which occurred on a train travelling between Parramatta to Blacktown.

Officers attached to Police Transport Command North West attended and were told a man allegedly committed a lewd act onboard the train, before allegedly following an 18 year old woman for a short distance before she was able to leave the area.

As part of inquiries, police have released an image and description of a man they believe can assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of African appearance, between 25 and 35-years-old, with short black hair, a goatee-style beard.

He was last seen wearing a red jumper, long beige pants, and white, black, and blue Nike Air Jordan shoes.
