Tag team targets buses in Oakleigh South

Police are investigating after more than 30 buses were targeted by graffiti artists at an Oakleigh South bus depot last month, leaving a large clean-up bill, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told four teens entered the depot on the corner of Warrigal and Centre roads between 1.15am and 1.30am on Friday, 26 May.

The group tagged 34 buses with graffiti tags including K18, NBDM, OHS and NB.

They were seen on Centre Road walking away from Warrigal Road.

It is believed the group then drove to Dandenong Railway Station and were involved in further acts of graffiti on a parked train before being disturbed by a patrolling security guard.

They were seen running away along Foster Street, Dandenong.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incidents or may be able to help identify those involved to come forward.

In particular, they wish to hear from any motorists who may have been driving along Centre Road about 1.30am that morning or saw a group of teens running.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
