The United States and Tajikistan share a strong interest in a sovereign, secure, and prosperous Central Asia. Our cooperation on border security and counterterrorism helps protect both of our countries and contributes to regional stability. Tajikistan's hosting of the B5+1 Forum in Dushanbe will provide an important opportunity to strengthen regional economic cooperation and expand trade and investment, including opportunities for American businesses.
As Tajikistan celebrates this important anniversary, the United States remains committed to strengthening our partnership and working together to advance security and economic opportunities.
