Takeaway store robbed by man brandishing knife - Oxleyvale

Investigations continue following the armed robbery of a takeaway store in the state's northeast.

About 6.50pm yesterday (Sunday 29 September 2019), a man armed with a knife entered a business on Manilla Road at Oxleyvale demanding cash and property from staff members.

The man threatened the employees and ran from the store with an amount of cash and cigarettes.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Oxley Police District attended and commenced inquiries into the robbery.

The man has been described as Caucasian in appearance, 175cm-180cm tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark grey hooded jumper with motif, black tracksuit pants, and socks with no shoes.
