A Tarneit man is wondering if his good fortune is written in the stars after scoring division one for the second time this year - the latest a $1 million prize in Friday night's Weekday Windfall draw.
The Wyndham resident held the only division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4583, drawn Friday 8 August 2025 and can look forward to a dazzling $1 million.
The winning man was still stunned by his second division one delight, admitting he'd accidentally bought a ticket for the wrong draw.
"I'm great! Thank you so much," he laughed.
"It was such a coincidence because I originally meant to buy a ticket for the Monday draw, as that's what I usually do, but I realised that I accidentally got a ticket into Friday's draw. Isn't that crazy?
"I'm so glad to have it confirmed. I've been waiting to tell my friends and family, but I wanted to make sure it was real first.
"It was actually earlier this year that I won $60,000 in a division one syndicate, and now this!
"My parents are into astrology, so I might need to pull up my birth chart and they can tell me if it was in the stars. I'm starting to think it's a lucky year for me.
"I'm just a middle-income earner with a regular job, so getting this is life-changing
"There have been lots of ideas between my wife and I. We'll pay off our mortgage first, but I would like to give back as well and help others."
His winning marked 30-game entry was purchased via The Lott app - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
