A man has been arrested after he was found in possession of a taser at Royal Park last night.
Just before 9pm on Sunday 12 April, patrols attended a home at Royal Park while conducting enquiries as part of an ongoing investigation. It will be alleged that when officers knocked on the front door, a man presented who was holding a taser.
The man was compliant with police, and the weapon was seized without incident.
The 32‑year‑old from the address was arrested and charged with possessing a prohibited weapon. He was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 May.
