Tasmania Mystery Millionaire: $1 Million Win Unclaimed

The suspense is mounting in Tasmania, particularly around Meadow Mews Shopping Centre, as a mystery Monday & Wednesday Lotto winner has yet to come forward to claim their $1 million prize.

Last night’s draw 4321 on September 13 saw three Division One winners $1 million each, one of whom purchased their ticket at Meadow Mews News & Lotto in King Meadows.

The ticket is unregistered as it was not an online purchase, leaving Lott officials unable to contact the winner and deliver the thrilling news. As a result, the lottery organization is urging players to double-check their tickets.

"Imagine going about your day with no idea that you’re a millionaire. We strongly urge all our customers to check their tickets. It could be in your wallet, handbag, on your fridge door, or even in your car glovebox. You might just find a million reasons to smile," said Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell.

Jeff Dolbey, owner of Meadow Mews News & Lotto, is no stranger to such joyous occasions.

"This marks our 26th Division One win in 24 years of operation. Our customers are over the moon with the news. We couldn’t have done it without our fantastic team, and to celebrate, morning tea is on me," Dolbey said.

As the community buzzes with excitement and speculation, Dolbey adds,

"During these challenging times, news like this can bring so much joy. There are a million reasons for this mystery winner to celebrate. Congratulations in advance!"

The winning numbers for the Wednesday Lotto draw 4321 were 11, 36, 3, 20, 41, and 16, with supplementary numbers 23 and 7. Across Australia, there were three Division One winners, one each from Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia.
