Tasmanian Tourism Awards recognise our best

Jeremy Rockliff, Premier

The annual Tasmanian Tourism Awards have once again showcased the best of our world-class tourism industry.

There is no doubt our beautiful State is home to many incredible people, locations and experiences, and the Awards are appropriate recognition of the best we have to offer.

In particular, congratulations to Allison Stubbs who was recognised as the Tasmanian Tourism Champion for 2022, and to Nunami Sculthorpe-Green, who is the Tourism Minister's Young Achiever for 2022.

I also congratulate the 25 category winners, and also the finalists for their incredible contribution to our tourism industry, particularly over the last several years as they have dealt with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our tourism industry continues to be a world leader and supports thousands of jobs and businesses across the State, while adding millions to our economy.

The ongoing strength of the industry is a credit to all the people working in it, who have helped to cement Tasmania as a must-visit travel destination.
