The latest unemployment data remains at 4.5 per cent according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Treasurer Eric Abetz welcomed these latest figures, with unemployment sitting at or below 4.5 per cent for 51 months.
"Tasmania's unemployment rate has remained stable, continuing to point to the strength of our economy," the Treasurer said.
"We have the highest business confidence in the nation, to the highest business conditions and our economy is the largest it has ever been.
"This Liberal Government is delivering for Tasmanians through considered policy that is producing strong economic outcomes.
"These outcomes are enjoyed by all Tasmanians as we continue to welcome strong economic data in 2026."
