A teenager has been charged after allegedly committing acts of voyeurism in the state’s far west in two separate incidents this year, NSW Police say.
The 18-year-old man was arrested by officers from Barrier Local Area Command about 2.20pm yesterday (Tuesday 26 December 2017), on Blende Street, Broken Hill.
During the arrest it’s alleged he ran away, however, he was arrested again and, when searching him, police allegedly found stolen items.
The man was taken to Broken Hill Police Station and charged with five offences including observe person in private act without consent-aggravated (x2), goods in personal custody suspected being stolen (x2), and escape police custody.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Broken Hill Local Court on Monday 22 January 2018.
Police will allege the man used a mirror to look into a toilet cubicle on two occasions: a shopping plaza on Galena Street on Saturday 14 October 2017 and a female toilet block on the corner of Chloride and Blende Streets on Wednesday 13 December 2017.
