Police have charged a teenage boy following a fatal single-vehicle crash on the state’s Central Coast last year, NSW Police say.
Just before 9.30pm on Sunday 17 July, emergency services were called to Willoughby Road, Wamberal, following reports a vehicle had crashed into a power pole.
A 17-year-old male passenger was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, but died at the scene.
A 16-year-old male passenger was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
Following investigations, the driver, a 17-year-old boy, has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death/drive manner dangerous and negligent driving occasioning death.
He will appear at a Local Court tomorrow.
