A teenage boy has been charged following investigations into the stabbing of a man near Gosford earlier today, NSW Police say.
Just before midday (Monday 30 July 2018), emergency services were called to Fox Close, Kariong, about 6km west of Gosford, following reports a man had been stabbed in the arm.
A 30-year-man was taken to Gosford Hospital where he will undergo surgery for a deep laceration to his arm.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District arrested a 17-year-old male at his home in Mardi about 3pm today (Monday 30 July 2018).
He was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding in company.
He was given conditional bail and will appear in a Children’s Court on Friday 17 August 2018.
