Teen charged in stolen vehicle investigation, NSW

Police have charged a third person following an investigation into stolen vehicles across the state, NSW Police say.

Officers from Wagga Wagga and Albury Local Area Commands, and Victoria Police are investigating property and vehicle thefts in the Wagga Wagga and Albury areas as part of Operation Kingsmen.

About 11am yesterday (Tuesday 26 December 2017), officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command arrested a 16-year-old boy at Wagga Wagga Police Station.

He has been charged with aggravated beak and enter and commit serious indictable offence – armed (x2), aggravated break and enter with intent – armed, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence, and a number of outstanding warrants.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at a children’s court today (Wednesday 27 December 2017).
