Teen charged over Mill Park armed robbery

Police have charged a teenager following an alleged armed robbery at a jewellery store in Mill Park last year, Victoria Police say.

The alleged incident occurred at a McDonalds Rd shopping centre on 14 March 2017.

A 17-year-old male from Koo Wee Rup was arrested yesterday (12 June) in Dandenong.

He was charged with armed robbery and has been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

Three others were charged and processed last year in relation to the alleged incident:

A 25-year-old Stawell woman charged with handle stolen goods;

A 27-year-old Stawell man charged with armed robbery; and

A 29-year-old Greensborough man charged with armed robbery.

The investigation remains ongoing and police are still looking for two other males.
