Teen Charged With Murder in Gosford Stabbing

A teenage boy will face court charged with murder after a man died on the state's Central Coast earlier this week.

About 7.30pm on Tuesday 28 July 2026, emergency services were called to Mann Street, Gosford, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District attended and found a 22-year-old man had been stabbed.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital.

A short time later, police were notified the 22-year-old man had died in hospital.

Following extensive inquiries about 1.30am today (Saturday 1 August 2026), police arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 45-year-old woman at a home in Lake Haven.

Both were taken to Wyong Police Station.

The 15-year-old boy was charged with murder. He was refused bail and will appear before a Children's Bail Court today (Saturday 1 August 2026).

The 45-year-old woman was charged with hinder apprehension person who committed serious offence. She was also refused bail and is due to appear before Bail Division Court 6 today (Saturday 1 August 2026).
