Fawkner Embona Taskforce detectives have charged a teenage boy following the execution of a search warrant in Craigieburn today, Victoria Police say.
The search warrant was executed following an incident which occurred on Sheffield Way, Craigieburn yesterday about 6.15pm.
It is believed a man and a woman were sitting in their car when they were allegedly threatened by the teenage boy who was armed with a firearm.
Investigators executed a search warrant today at a property on Hyde Park Avenue and arrested a teenage boy who was present at the property.
Police also seized two imitation firearms from the address.
A 16-year-old Craigieburn boy has been charged with make threats to kill, prohibited person possess imitation firearm and unlicensed driving.
He has been bailed to appear at a Children’s Court at a later date.
