Teen stabs security guard in Moss Vale

Police are appealing for information after a security guard was stabbed in Moss Vale.

About 9pm yesterday, a security guard approached a vehicle that was conducting burnouts at an oval on Donkin Avenue.

The security guard spoke to the three occupants of the vehicle and attempted to take the keys out of the ignition.

One of the male occupants who had exited the car, challenged the guard. A physical altercation ensued with the guard receiving stab wounds to his hand and back.

The male returned to the car and all three drove away.

The 72-year-old guard alerted emergency services. He was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Bowral Police continue to investigate the incident and area appealing for information.

They would like to speak to two males and a female who may be travelling in a vehicle described as being red hatchback.

The male driver is described as being between 16-18 years old and wearing a dark top and pants.

The female passenger is described as being aged between 14-15 years old and a slim build.

The second male occupant is described as being aged between 14-15 years old.
