Teenage Boy Charged After Stabbing At Blacktown

A teenage boy has been charged following an investigation into the alleged stabbing of a man on a bus at Blacktown last night.

About 8.30pm on Sunday 25 May 2025, emergency services were called to Wirruna Road, Blacktown, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command attended and found a 48-year-old man with a stab wound to his leg.

Police were told the man was allegedly stabbed by another male on a bus, before the second male left the scene.

The 48-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital. Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following inquiries, about 7.20pm on Monday 26 May 2025, police executed a search warrant at a unit at Putters Circuit, Blacktown.

A short time later, a 14-year-old boy was arrested at Blacktown Police Station.

The boy was charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was refused bail refused to appear in a Children's Court tomorrow (Tuesday 27 May 2025).
