Teenager arrested following brawl in Hurstville

Police investigations are continuing into a brawl which occurred at Hurstville last month, with one teenager arrested last night, NSW Police say.

About 4.30pm on Friday 28 October 2016, police responded to reports of people fighting near a war memorial outside a shopping centre on Forest Road.

One teenager, aged 17, was taken to St George Hospital for treatment for bruising and abrasions and officers from St George Local Area Command commenced an investigation.

Police have viewed CCTV from the area and spoken to a number of witnesses.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 13-year-old boy at Kogarah Police Station about 10pm yesterday.

He will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.

Police are continuing their investigations and are still trying to identify two males they would like to speak to.
